Zhejiang University and Alibaba are connected through their joint-institute, AZFT...so recall back to at least one MSU scientist going back to China for Alibaba in 2015, AND that he was one of the original cast around Lionel Ni, whose invention for "Pervasive computing environments" was cited by Huazhong University, who then partnered back with Michigan State in 2017.
