Jonathan Choi was with the Maritime Silk Road Society in Hong Kong in 2016, tasked with developing the Middle East and ASEAN countries along the BRI (Belt and Road Initiative) sea-faring routes.
The Maritime Silk Road Society (MSRS) brokered deals and held meetings with Turkish, Iranian, and Pakistani diplomats and businessmen.
Hunter Biden's Chinese business partner (at the time), Ye Jianming, Chairman of CEFC (energy conglomerate), was with Jonathan Choi at MSRS, too.
